The Ford Expedition comes in at number one on a list of light-duty passenger vehicles with the highest percentage of high-mileage examples still on the road. The list, compiled by website iSeeCars.com based on an analysis of more than 13 million registered vehicles, looked at the percentage of each model with more than 200,000 miles on the odometer.According to the study, 5.7% of all Ford Expedition examples still on the road are over 200,000 miles. That’s more than four times the average across all models of 1.3%.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the Ford F-150 was also on the list, although in twelfth place with 2.1% of examples having logged 200,000 miles or more. That’s just above the GMC Sierra 1500 (2.0%), and just below the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2.2%).
