A recent chance of putting a pair of 2016 Ford F150 pickups to work – one with the 5.0L V8 and the other with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 – and today I bring you views on how these two powerful F150 engines size up to each other when run through hauling, towing and daily driving tests.
Over the past few years, a variety of Ford F150 pickups have been reviewed
However the most common questions I’m hearing asked by consumers today is “which is better – the EcoBoost V6 or the 5.0L V8”?
Prospective buyers can look at specifications all day and make assumptions, but with some relatively intensive testing, consumers often ask which of the two premium F150 engines are best for someone who actually puts their truck to work.
